Hi, I’m Kayla.

Like some of you can relate, I’ve been an animal lover since the day I was born… my poor not so animal-obsessed parents barely knew what to do with me. As much as we tried to fight fate, it seemed like animals were as equally as are drawn to me as much as I was to them. So I was that girl where the stray dog would follow me home from school, to find the box of dumped kittens, and even now it seems like every animal in my herd has their own perfectly imperfect way of stumbling into my life.

After purchasing my first horse, Cruise, after only being on a horse a few times in my life before (it was 2020 and I was depressed, this was a full YOLO moment), I found a deeper love and appreciation for animals and how they are such natural healers. I craved to know more. That’s when I met, Alex and decided to try out using an animal communicator for the first time. During that session, Cruise brought up to her the deeply personal struggle I had been on with my mental health, a fact she never would have known on her own, and shook me to my core… I was hooked.

There started my own journey of turning these ‘gut feelings’ and soul-level connections with my herd, into meaningful two-way communication. I wasn’t a natural ‘intuitive’ but my years studying and working in science let me treat this like one big experiment with the hypothesis being… ‘If we are really only using a small portion of our brain on a conscious level, is it possible that intuitive work can be learned/retaught so that we can activate that part of us again'. The answer to this even surprised myself… ABSOLUTELY.

I initially used my new skillset to help with my rescue/foster work on the mini farm, but then quickly discovered my love of helping others communicate with their own pets and decided to open up my books for "just a few sessions". Fast forward, I’ve have now done hundreds of client sessions with people all across the globe and in a full circle moment, now coach students in the Pet Talk Communication classes I learned from myself!

Kayla's Fur Herd is not just a social media page; it's a place that I hope you’ll find insights into deeper animal connections, mixed with a whole lot of real-life humor as I navigate being a suburbia girl turned mini farmer and sometimes wish I didn’t hear the things my animal sass back to me.

Thank you for being here, and welcome the herd.
